The Immigrant Ships Transcribers Guild website has the ships passenger list for the SS Louise Marie (often misspelled as Louisa Marie)  for its voyage that ended in Philadelphia on May 6, 1852. The first six passengers listed were Carl "Conrad" Rehmann, his wife Sophia, and four of their eight children.

Anna (Rehmann) Huester is listed first with the name of Anna Baschon. At this point, we do not know the circumstances but it would appear that she had been married prior to coming to American.

We do not know when their other four older children made the journey.

  1. Margaretta Rehmann

  2. Elisabeth (Rehmann) Kempker

  3. Charles Rehmann

  4. Heinrich Rehmann

SS most often refers to a Steamship. Occasionally, it was attached to a Ship Under Sail.
