The Dreier Family is related to the Heiden Family through Rika (Knaack) Heiden (left), wife of August Heiden. Her mother's maiden name was Sophia Dorothea Elisabeth (Dreier) Knaack. Sophia's sister was Maria (Dreier) Roggelein.

Sophia's daughter who was Rika's first cousin, Dorothea (Roggelein) Laas, came to America a few years before Rika and August. She settled in Monroe, Michigan and appears to have been the catalyst for the Heidens coming to Monroe in 1873.  Laas family members attended Heiden Reunions through most of the 20th century.

Listed below are all the deceased people from the Dreier/Laas Family who have been given a personalized individual page on this website. The total listed on the graphic above represents the number of direct descendants, both living and dead, that are included in our database.

Those that have a icon are represented on at least one individual or group image on the website. Click on the icon to see the photo index for that person. Pictures showing groups of individuals will contain captions naming those people we have been able to identify.
