Wanda Mae Klatt was born on July 30, 1940 in Monroe, Michigan as the eighth child of Elsie (Heiden) and Otto Klatt .

She died as a child of 5 on October 19, 1945 in Monroe. Her clothes caught fire near an oil stove and she was died of the injuries.
