The
Kanseyer Family is related to members of the Heiden Family through August Heiden. In
the German church records, August's
father was "angeblich" i.e. alleged to
be, Johann Cansear. Further
investigation led to the conclusion that
the correct surname spelling appears to
be Kanseyer.
We do not know if any of the related
German Kannseyers, other than the
Heiden Family, came to America.
